This week is Mental Health Awareness week and this year’s theme is all about moving more!
Regular physical activity is known to improve mental health, quality of life, and wellbeing. Despite these benefits being well established, over a third of UK adults do not meet the recommended amount of activity.
The question is why!? With movement sometimes feeling a chore and so many of us struggling with simple mechanical / structural deviations - its no wonder why we see movement as sometimes equaling to pain, or feeling unable to overcome our individual barriers.
The good news is, it doesn’t have to be complicated - simple movement can have remarkable benefits on improving our health and wellbeing, better yet the more you move the easier it becomes. With targeted individualised plans and simple exercises you CAN improve your movement and make exercise feel more comfortable.
